Another cute one from Kinley

Saturday May 29, 2010

Kinley just has a way with getting her information out! Let me preface this story by saying two things. One, being last week Sam and Ryan took their 3 to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa and of course, saw all sorts of animals, reptile etc. Two, being...Samantha sometimes tells Kinley, "your butt is so cute, I'm just going to butter it, grill it, and eat it up" which of course leads to laughter.

Last night Sam and family were watching "Friday Night Lights" . The two former players from the football team are carrying shotguns and going hunting. Kinley goes..."Mama, why they carrying guns?"...Sam replys that they are going hunting. Kinley then asks, "Mama, do you go huntin"? Sam replys, no, and that some people hunt for food to eat, and that she had eaten some food that other people had hunted for. Kinley goes on and asks, Mama, did you eat alligators? Sam says yes. Kinley then asks, did you eat piggies? Sam again says yes, but doesn't go into detail about Kinley having eaten pork. Then Kinley asks if Sam had eaten fishies...yes was the answer. Then Kinley goes...Mama, did you eat monkeys? Sam says no! Kinley without missing a beat, goes is that cuz they got ugly butts?? Of course, we all laughed big when Sam shared this story. What more can this little one come up with! She keeps us all in stitches!!

Just another day in our lives!

Macy J Has Arrived!

Tuesday May 18, 2010

Today is a new special day as, Macy is due to arrive. Jacy and Jeff will be going to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater to be induced at 6:30 AM. This is a day that has come, by God's Grace through the many, many prayers of our family and friends. Today, at 5:51 PM ...Macy made her appearance into God's World...into loving arms of her Mommy and Daddy. She weighed in at 6 lbs. and 1 oz....20 inches long. Macy, you will have a story to tell for quite some time. But for tonight, I think we will just let you along with your Mommy and Daddy, get some much needed rest! I hope you know just how many people love you and will pray for you to continue to grow. May your heart always lead you to follow in the paths of HIS righteousness, for HIS namesake.

Special hugs and kisses tonight to you Dear Macy J, Jeff and Jacy! From all of us!

Jeff is very relieved to get Jacy home (with Macy still due!)
We all gave Jeff a rough time, but after 7 weeks with his lovely wife in the hospital, he can't wait to rock little Macy in the new rocking chair!

Easter 2010

Today is a special day in all of us Christ followers! We celebrate HIS resurrection from the grave and follow his to this day ....2010 years later. Not another "king" can make that claim!

Today is special also, because we as a family can be with Jeff and Jacy in their home in Oldsmar! Jacy is home from the hospital (still recommended bedrest, but we can be all together!)and we are all anxious to get there after church!

Jacy's in the hospital

In January, we knew Jacy was having a few problems with carrying their baby, but none of us thought it would come to this scare!
Jacy is in St. Joseph Women's Hospital for (now we know...7 weeks!!) We have been lifting her name on all our prayer chains and church and friends and families! It was a tough road, but God was Good and saw her through a very scary time. Strong meds and great Doctors. We now know it's a baby girl whom they will name "Macy J"...so our waiting game has turned into a true blessing as we await the arrival for Macy! Thank you God for keeping her safe in Jacy for 12+ weeks. Time for Macy to grow and mature! We have witnessed a true miracle! Thank you God for your mercies.

Today, was Rhett's special day for all of us to stand up and commit ourselves to Jesus to raise Rhett in a Christian environment. Pastor Jay and Pastor Tom both helped with the service. This year was a little sad, as Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jacy couldn't be here, since Jacy is on complete bedrest, since her pregancy has proven to be a little more difficult. But we were together in spirit!
Karsyn's Baptism was Jan. 2004, Kinley's was Jan. 2007 and now here in 2010, we deliver Rhett to our Father in Heaven.

Friday March 19, 2010

Wow! Is all I can say. Since I last blogged we have witnessed a true miracle from God. Jacy, went for her weekly OB check up on Tues. Feb.9 and was sent DIRECTLY to St. Joseph's Hospital for Women in Tampa because she was in pre-term labor @25 weeks gestation!! It was very scary for a couple of days, as the Dr. thought for sure she would be delivering a baby (girl)! We all prayed and placed this precious baby to be in God's Hands and asked for HIM to hold her safe. Well, this week, Jacy made it to 30 weeks gestation and "Macy J" is still safe inside her Mommy. It has been a very long 5 weeks, mostly for Mommy. Daddy is working and getting by to visit most every day. Bubba and Mimi get up every weekend and sometimes in the middle of the week. Jacy has been such a trooper through all of this. She wants to be home so badly, but knows for "Macy J" to survive it is best for her to be in the hospital under very strict bedrest.

So, as we know that God has held us all together these last 5 weeks, we anxiously await "Macy J" precious arrival!

Sunday is Jacy's birthday and we all plan to go up with a chocolate cake with chocolate icing! Hoping to make another day and cheer up Mommy and Daddy.
So happy birthday Jacy! We love you!

And "Macy J" hold on tight! Your ride is almost over and your precious life will begin. You seem bigger than life right now, because our family and friends, and our churches have held you so close in prayer these past 5 weeks. You are so special and you don't even know...sigh....oh, how we love you. You have Samantha and Ryan another Aunt and Uncle with their precious family of children, Karsyn, Kinley and Rhett, who are your cousins who wait patiently for your BIRTH DAY!!

Mimi and Bubs have been watching your dog Lily, since Daddy can't work, and visit with Mommy and keep Lily. Lily has been such a good houseguest for our family and Shadow and Bailey!

Rest dear "Macy", we will be here waiting for your precious arrival!
Love you,
Mimi

Praying for "baby girl Erb"

With all the excitement of Rhett's arrival, Thanksgiving, Christmas and so many other family events, it seems we will be praying for the next few days, weeks and hopefully months for our precious granddaughter to be. Jeff and Jacy are due with a baby girl in May, but Jacy has been having trouble. Her cervix is proving to be a problem with "holding" in their baby. So far, medicines and bedrest are doing the job, but with 17 more weeks to go...so, we are praying and placing this in the hands of God to hold their precious daughter safely till the Dr. can deliver a healthy baby girl.

Praying today and everyday,
Love you precious little girl and Mommy and Daddy,
Mimi and Bubba
